About Us
Bouwa Whee is a dynamic, wholly owned subsidiary of Det’on Cho Corporation – the economic development organization of the Yellowknives Dene First Nation, dedicated to creating prosperity for its members.
We currently provide camp catering services to the diamond mines of the Northwest Territories. These services include food catering services, janitorial and housekeeping, camp administration services, and managers to oversee day-to-day camp operations.
With a skilled workforce of 190 people, our employees are among the industry’s most experienced and well trained. Eighty percent are from the North and more than 50 percent are Indigenous. All of Bouwa Whee’s employees have access to the best training in the North.
