Building Business Capacity in the North - Understanding Financial Statements

The financial statements are one measure of reporting the results of an organization. It shows the results of the strategic decisions made by leadership during the year and how those decisions were implemented by management and staff. Course content includes knowledge of responsibilities, compliance with reporting standards GAAP, NPO and PSAS, and the components of a financial statement with a view to understanding the key messages that the financial statements are providing.
