The two-day weekend event (plus the Friday opening gala Warm the Rocks) has grown into one of Canada's top summertime music and cultural festivals, drawing performers from the NWT, Nunavut and all across Canada for the North’s biggest party under the midnight sun. More than 24 hours of programming on five stages, including a children's area and a beer garden, promises fun and enjoyment for all ages. Along with the music, crowds can savour international and traditional cuisine at the food fair, buy Northern creative works, and check out other non-profit groups and activities in the artisan tent. Artists include: Stars, Whitehorse, Tanya Tagaq The Weather Station, Weaves, Quantum Tangle, Partner, The Courtneys, Cris Derksen, William Prince, Carmen Braden, Nuela Charles, Hillsburn, Louie & Leanne Goose, Fiver, Klo Pelgag, The Highest Order, The Lonesome Ace String Band, Major Funk & The Employment, JB The First Lady, Silla + Rise, Twin Peaks, Rock The Arts, Andrea Bettger, Ororo Mohawk, Abigail Lapell, Peekaboo Kazoo, Bella Dance, Aurora Fiddle Society, NWT Creative Collective, Taiga Yoga w/ Miraj, Rainbow Coalition of YK, The Truth on Turtle Island, YK Dene Drummers
