Business Launch Solutions Launches Awards for Entrepreneurs over 50

The inaugural WISE 50 Over 50 Awards recognizing and celebrating 50 entrepreneurs over 50 are open for applications and nominations.
As you may know, Canadians over 50 are the fastest growing segment of the business start-up population. What better time than Canada?s 150th to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of people who are harnessing the power of experience to make an idea or a long-held dream a reality?
Open to Canadian residents who started their business after turning 50, the award?s submission deadline is August 31. A panel of judges across North America will select the 50 winning companies, and the awards will be presented in Fall 2017. Submissions will be accepted from founders of new businesses, purchasers of existing businesses and franchises, and initiators of family and intergenerational businesses ? as long as the entrepreneur is a majority owner of the business and the head office is in Canada. Entrepreneurs have made huge impacts throughout the history of Canada. It?s time for entrepreneurs over 50 to be recognized for the wisdom, initiative, skills, and experience they bring to the business world ? modern day heroes, models, and mentors.
